We did it!
The Yellowstone Gateway Protection Act Passed Out of Congress!
Your voice helped permanently protect 30,000 acres of public lands in Yellowstone’s Gateway from the threats of industrial scale gold mining. We thank you for your unwavering dedication to this effort.
Now it’s time to thank our Montana delegation, Senator Jon Tester, Senator Steve Daines, and Representative Gianforte for their support, and to let them know how grateful we all are to see the Yellowstone Gateway Protection Act become law. Thank you for passing the YGPA.

volunteers needed to help sew masks for livingston healthcare
PCEC's Boomerang Bag volunteers and staff have been coordinating with Livingston Healthcare to help organize community volunteers to sew personal protective equipment (PPE) for our local health care professionals.
Livingston HealthCare has a goal of reaching 1000 masks! Do you have a sewing machine at home? Have extra fabric or elastic in your home? Can you help sew PPE for Livingston HealthCare!? If you’re interested in joining in, please sign up online:
After you sign up we will provide instructions, patterns and guidelines for sewing face masks. All sewing efforts will be coordinated with Livingston HealthCare using best practices to protect the health and safety of our community. Please note: these homemade masks are not a replacement for N95 level PPE.
Park county volunteer opportunities
We've heard from several people who cannot sew offering to volunteer their time, or skills where it might be helpful. The Park County Health Department has a volunteer sign up form up on its website for just that purpose. If the need arises, they will reach out to you with guidance for how you can be of service, safely and effectively.
