THURSDAY: Park County Planning Board to discuss outreach lessons, plan

The importance of good communication cannot be overstated, but getting the correct facts out is not always easy. We are grateful that members of the Park County Planning Board have been taking steps to try to improve communication channels between citizens and county government.

This Thursday, members of the Park County Planning Board will be discussing results from recent community outreach meetings which have taken place throughout the county over the past couple of months. Members of the board have hosted meetings in Gardiner, Cooke City, Clyde Park, Emigrant, Wilsall, Livingston and Swingley Road to talk with people about how the county can improve the way it communicates.

Join the July 20th meeting in person 5 p.m. in the Community Room at the City/County Courthouse or via Zoom.

The Board is expected to make formal recommendations on steps the county can take at its August 17 board meeting.

Hope to see you there!
