You're Invited to L-Town Soup

Good soup, great ideas, stronger community–that’s L-Town Soup: a grassroots micro-granting dinner where the purchase of your meal funds local projects. There are three ways you can get involved: choose one or all three!

Date: April 29th, 2026 | Time: 5:30 PM
Location: Elks Lodge

Do you have an idea that could make a difference in our community? Pitch your project! This is your chance to share your vision and receive funding to bring it to life. For inspiration, check out our website to see some of the past winners. Fill out this short application by March 30th.

Interested in supporting these amazing folks and their cool ideas? Come eat soup and enjoy a tasty beverage! For a minimum donation of $20 ($10 for kids) you can enjoy delicious food from FoodWorks (soup, roll and cookies) and tasty beverage from Neptune’s (bring your ID for 21+), listen to inspiring project pitches, vote for your favorite idea and celebrate local community winners receiving funding for their projects.

Help us reduce event waste! As an extra bonus, bring your own bowl, spoon, and beer mug to receive a $5 FoodWorks coupon.

You can also donate to the matching fund! Thanks to a generous gift from the AMB West Community Fund, your contributions could result in a match up to $10,000 in total awards for winning projects. Help us raise $5,000.

Beyond providing grassroots funding, L-Town Soup fosters a spirit of collaboration and community. Started in 2017 and revamped in 2025, PCEC has hosted L-Town Soup for four years. We extend our gratitude to our long standing and new partners, Soundcolor Studios, AMB West Community Fund, Neptunes Brewery, Food Works, and Happy Trash Can.

Learn more about SOUP or pitch a project here. We can’t wait to see you there!

SOUP is not about pushing a brand, a trend, an issue, a product, or a business strategy. SOUP is not a topical event where we sit in circles of like-minded individuals who want just art, or ranching, or conservation, or technology, or small businesses to succeed. It is convening all of these previously siloed people together and having a conversation about what matters.  -Why and How to Soup
